Adaptation Futures 2018

The international Adaptation Futures conference, which took place from 18-21 June 2018 in Cape Town, saw a strong representation of ASSAR researchers who used this platform to showcase their research findings on climate adaptation in semi-arid regions. Their research results touched on themes ranging from the effectiveness of climate services, to urban migrants' vulnerability; from the link between invasive species and climate change, to how to effectively collaborate between researchers and practitioners; from the use of participatory scenarios to the governance of water and natural resources.
