What does the implementation of ‘SDG 13 Climate Action’ mean in practice and what is needed for this? Reaching this goal not only depends on science and technologies, but maybe more so on human behaviour and collaboration between stakeholders across different levels and scales.
In this seminar we will question the fundamental and transformational changes required in structures and processes that govern how climate adaptation occurs. Are ongoing climate change discussions taking us to a good future? Are the negotiations and implementation inclusive? What needs to change in the existing climate change governance to ensure a brighter future for humanity?
Please join us for this interactive seminar, where several speakers from Wageningen University and Research, Oxfam GB, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia, and the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs will reflect on the disconnect between international efforts and local implementation issues, its impact on multilateral climate change negotiations and the need for transformational change.
Join us on 24th November in Wageningen, The Netherlands, from 9:15 am until 5 pm.
