Managing Ethiopia's invasive plant species

10 Oct 2017 - 13:45

A plant called Prosopis has invaded the rangelands of Afar, Ethiopia, and is limiting the access of pastoralist communities to grazing land, and affecting their livelihood and wellbeing.

The ASSAR team in Ethiopia is working with local communities, government and other key decision makers to improve the management of rangelands, and ultimately achieve more sustainable and equitable access to rangeland for pastoralists.

This beautiful new illustrated impact pathway aids workshop participants in Ethiopia to understand the logic and process of ASSAR's work in the region.
